I can't believe the end of the year is almost here! We are beginning to wrap up our units and reviewing all we have learning this year in preparation for 3rd grade!
In Math we are working on multiplying numbers 0,1,2,3,4 and 5. We have also worked on dividing by 2. We also have talked about the inverse operation of multiplying and dividing just like we do with addition and subtraction. We have also been working on perimeter and area of a shape.
In Reading and Writing we are learning about Fables, Folktales and Cinderella! We have been tracking Cinderella from around the world and learning about the different cultures connected to the stories. The students have been studying the continents and the countries located in each continent. In each of the Cinderella stories, the plot is a little different. Ask you child to see what Cinderella from Mexico, Ireland, and the other countries are from!
